About the Blinds

1. What if I can't see the blind I'm looking for on the site?

2. I'm not very good at DIY are the blinds easy to fit?
Check out the 'How to Measure and Fit' section of the site. It provides you with details for all the blinds we sell. In addition, all our blinds come with full instructions on how to assemble and fit these blinds to your window. Screws and fixing brackets are included with each blind.

3. How easy are blinds to clean?
All our blinds come with care instructions on how to keep them looking as good as the first day you put them up!
Many of our Rollers and Verticals range can be wiped clean with a clean damp cloth, Aluminium and Wooden Venetians just need to be dusted with a dry duster or a damp cloth.

4. How easy are blinds to operate?
All our blinds are designed to be easy to operate with minimum effort using simple and discreet cords or chains.
Vertical blinds come with two simple controls, the co-ordinating chain which controls the angle of the louvres and the cord draws the blind across the window or to the side of the window.
Rollers are operated by a side winding cord mechanism which enables the blind to be raised to the exact height required.
Venetians are operated by two controls - a raise and lower cord which holds the blind at the height required, and a wand which is twisted to control the angle of the slats.
Wooden Venetian blinds have two cord controls - one controls the height of the blind, the other controls the angle of the slats.
You can specify when you order which side you want your controls located.

5. Do you sell any blinds which block out the light?
If you choose a darker colour Roller or Roman blind, this will stop the majority of light entering your room.

6. What do I do if the blind I want is bigger than your maximum size?

7. I have a colour I need to match - how can I do this?
We suggest that you look through the fabric selections and order the samples that most closely resemble the colour of blinds you are looking for. When you receive your samples you will be able to check the colours properly.

8. Will my blind be exactly the same as my fabric sample?
All our fabric samples are taken from the same stock we use to actually manufacture blinds so your sample will match the blinds you order if they are in the same fabric.
